Course presentation
"Understanding China" is a Saturday course organized by the Center for Chinese-Mexican Studies (Cechimex) of the Faculty of Economics of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), and the Center for Asian and African Studies of El Colegio de México (COLMEX). Its objective is to contribute to the knowledge generated -from a multidisciplinary perspective- in the academic, public and business sectors about China and its relationship with Mexico. The course is taught by a group of specialists (ambassadors, officials, academics, businessmen and others) with extensive knowledge of China, on the topics of:

- Town planning
- Environment
- Language and culture
- History and philosophy
- Business sector
- Political system, economy and society
- China and the world
- Geopolitics
- China-Mexico relationship
- China-Latin America and the Caribbean relationship
