   Professor at the School of Global Policy and Strategy at the University of California, San Diego. Economist and specialist on the chinese economy. He analyzes topics related to the industry, trade, finance and China's transition to a market economy. Recently, he has also written multiple papers about the economic reforms in chinese cities; investment and trade disputes between China and the United States and economic interactions between China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.
