Mexico City-China Scholarship Program (2007-2013)
Supported by the Twinning Agreement between Mexico City of the United Mexican States and Beijing City of the People's Republic of China, the Mexico City-China Scholarship Program during the 2007-2013 period convened members of the academy, companies, the government and the general public for participate in a project with a broad impact with potential benefits for Mexico City. The projects could deal with the following topics:

- Economy
- Energy
- Ecology
- Culture and tourism
- Digital city and digital government
- Civil protection
- Health
- Public security
- Educational Technologies
- Telecommunication
- Transport
- Waste treatment
- Urbanization and housing
The program provided an individual scholarship for a stay in Beijing, during which each project was carried out.
